LG CNS has joined hands with Doosan to launch full-scale cooperation in future new business areas including artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, data centers, and cloud.

LG CNS announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Doosan at its headquarters in LG Science Park, Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, aimed at securing global competitiveness in new businesses such as AX, RX, data centers, and cloud. LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun, Doosan CEO Yoo Seung-woo, and other key executives from both companies attended the signing ceremony. The two companies plan to establish a business cooperation task force within one month of signing the agreement and formulate detailed operational plans to fully ramp up their collaboration.

Cooperation in AI Transformation (AX) and Robotics Transformation (RX)

In the AX domain, the companies will work to strengthen Doosan's AI competitiveness and develop a business roadmap based on LG CNS's enterprise-grade agentic AI platform, 'AgenticWorks.' They also plan to explore collaboration in the robotics transformation (RX) domain.

Data Center and Cloud Synergy

The two companies will also seek synergies in data center and cloud businesses. LG CNS will leverage its cloud and data center technologies to support the advancement of Doosan's IT infrastructure, and they will discuss applying Doosan's hydrogen fuel cells to LG CNS's data center business.

Expanding Cooperation to Manufacturing Innovation and Eco-Friendly Logistics

The two companies will also cooperate in manufacturing innovation by integrating digital twin technology. They plan to pursue Manufacturing AX to improve efficiency across the lifecycle of manufacturing facilities, while also expanding cooperation in eco-friendly mobility-based logistics businesses.

Doosan CEO Yoo Seung-woo said, "By combining Doosan's technological expertise accumulated in advanced materials and energy with LG CNS's AX capabilities, we will build next-generation business models that lead the global market," adding, "Through cooperation spanning data centers, robotics, and AI, we will maximize the future value of both companies."

LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun stated, "We expect that the combination of LG CNS's AX and RX capabilities with Doosan's technological prowess will create significant synergy effects," and pledged, "We will produce tangible business outcomes early on, including AI-based equipment prediction and industrial innovation using robotics."
