Singer Hwanhee captivated viewers by showcasing not only his vocal prowess but also warm family love on weekend variety shows.

Hwanhee appeared consecutively on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' and 'The Men Who Live to Cook Season 2' (hereafter 'Salim Nam'), which aired on the 20th.

First, on 'Immortal Songs – Trot Best Friends King of Kings Part 1', Hwanhee took the stage alongside singer Choi Soo-ho to perform Lee Soo-ra's 'Please.' The two completed a fantastic harmony with their emotive vocals and deep sensibility, earning high praise from the cast.

In the subsequently aired 'Salim Nam', Hwanhee's mother made a surprise visit ahead of his Gwangju event stage. His mother handed him a lunchbox she had prepared herself, showing her deep maternal love. Hwanhee was deeply moved by the sight of his mother visiting his dressing room for the first time in 28 years since his debut as a singer, and reminisced about his childhood.

To avoid disrupting her son's performance, his mother secretly watched the show from the audience seats. After finishing the first song, 'Even If My Heart Aches', Hwanhee learned from an audience member that his mother was in the crowd. He then sincerely asked his fans to support him as he builds new memories with his mother.

Later, listening to Hwanhee sing 'Heartless Blues', his mother's eyes welled up with tears as she reflected on her son's new challenges and hardships. The sight of the two sharing their hearts and creating precious memories delivered deep emotion to viewers.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's 'The Men Who Live to Cook Season 2', featuring Hwanhee, airs every Saturday at 9:20 PM.
