Starship Entertainment's rookie boy group IDID has earned the honor of winning the Rookie Award at the '35th Seoul Music Awards.'
IDID achieved a meaningful milestone by being selected as the Rookie Award winner at the '35th Seoul Music Awards' ceremony held on the 20th at Inspire Arena in Incheon. With this win, IDID lifted their second trophy of the year, following the Hot Trend Award they received at the '3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026' in May, proving their outstanding activity.
Leader Jang Yong-hoon took the stage at the ceremony and shared his thoughts, saying, "It is an honor to receive a Rookie Award that comes only once in a lifetime." He then expressed deep gratitude to the officials who invited them to the ceremony, the agency staff, and their fandom 'Widit,' adding, "We will repay you with even better stages in the future."
On this day, IDID seized the spotlight with an original intro performance. They then flawlessly delivered live performances of their single album track 'Attent!on' and title track 'FLY!,' showcasing excellent stage presence. In particular, they captivated the audience with a cover stage of BTS's 'FAKE LOVE.' Members Jang Yong-hoon, Kim Min-jae, and Baek Jun-hyuk also joined members of the group IDENTITY and CLOSE YOUR EYES for a joint performance of H.O.T.'s 'We Are The Future,' drawing enthusiastic responses.
IDID is a seven-member boy group that debuted last year through a Starship Entertainment project. They demonstrated their solid potential by topping a music show just 12 days after their debut. In May, they released their single album 'FLY!' and have been continuing their active promotions.
Meanwhile, IDID, now the recipients of the Rookie Award, is scheduled to appear on SBS's 'Inkigayo' broadcasting on the 21st to deliver yet another spectacular performance.
