South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit will begin supporting new trading for Arcium (ARX) starting on the afternoon of the 23rd.

As of 2:10 PM, the KRW market price stood at 680 won, up 2.41% from the previous day.

Earlier, Upbit announced through a notice that it would add ARX to its KRW, Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) markets. ARX deposits and withdrawals are supported on the Solana network, and users must verify the network before trading.

Upbit noted that in compliance with the Travel Rule, assets deposited from exchanges not included in the list of eligible operators for deposits and withdrawals may not be reflected. Additionally, deposits and withdrawals are only possible through personal wallet addresses that have completed ownership verification.

Meanwhile, Arcium is a decentralized confidential computing network that utilizes MPC (Multi-Party Computation) technology. Unlike the transparent structure of existing blockchains, it is designed to perform computations without exposing sensitive data to the outside.

In particular, it is drawing attention for its potential use in sectors where the protection of personal and sensitive information is critical, such as finance, healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI), and enterprise-to-enterprise data collaboration. Arcium adopts a method that splits data into multiple fragments and has multiple nodes perform computations jointly, and developers can build confidential computing applications through its proprietary framework, 'Arcis.'

The ARX token serves as a utility token used for staking, governance, reward distribution, and node resource activation during network operations.
