The company explained that the contract amount excludes value-added tax and represents the combined total of multiple purchase orders (POs) with the same contract date and counterparty. It added that the stated contract end date is the scheduled tax invoice issuance date, which may change depending on future equipment delivery schedules. Meanwhile, the scale of this contract amounts to 14.94% of VM's revenue (14.441179 billion won) based on its 2025 consolidated financial statements. VM has a track record of executing similar contracts with SK Hynix, whose main business is the manufacturing and sale of semiconductor devices, over the past three years.
