VM announced on the 23rd through a regulatory filing that it has signed a semiconductor manufacturing equipment supply contract worth 21.578 billion won with SK Hynix. This contract is an unconditional definitive agreement, and the supply region is domestic. The specific contract period is set from June 23, 2026, to October 14, 2026. Payment terms stipulate that 90% will be paid upon equipment delivery and the remaining 10% upon completion of set-up. The company explained that the contract amount excludes value-added tax and represents the combined total of multiple purchase orders (POs) with the same contract date and counterparty. It added that the stated contract end date is the scheduled tax invoice issuance date, which may change depending on future equipment delivery schedules. Meanwhile, the scale of this contract amounts to 14.94% of VM's revenue (14.441179 billion won) based on its 2025 consolidated financial statements. VM has a track record of executing similar contracts with SK Hynix, whose main business is the manufacturing and sale of semiconductor devices, over the past three years.
