Hanwha Systems announced on the 24th through a regulatory filing that it has decided to acquire the land and buildings of the 'Hanwha Future Technology Research Institute,' located at 305 Pangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The acquisition amount is 287.85 billion won. This is the contract amount stated in the sale and purchase agreement, excluding taxes, public dues, and incidental expenses. The scale of this acquisition accounts for 2.79% of the total assets of 10.3272 trillion won on the consolidated financial statements as of December 31, 2025.

The counterparty to the transaction is Hanwha Corporation, and the purpose of the acquisition was explained as 'for management purposes.' The matter was resolved at the Board of Directors meeting on June 24, 2026. All three outside directors attended in full, and an audit committee member who is not an outside director also attended the meeting to complete the procedure.

The scheduled acquisition date and the planned final payment date are both July 10, 2026. However, the company added that the schedule and payment terms may change in the future depending on consultations with the counterparty. The basis for calculating total assets is the consolidated financial statement as of December 31, 2025, in accordance with K-IFRS.
