Boy group NOWZ has confirmed their comeback this August and has begun full-scale preparations for their new release. According to their agency, Cube Entertainment, NOWZ will meet global fans with a new album showcasing a more matured musical world, following their first Japanese EP 'NOWZ' released in March.
NOWZ's upward trajectory has been notably steep as of late. After rebranding their team name last year, they surpassed 150,000 copies in first-week sales with their first mini-album 'IGNITION,' setting a new personal record. They also demonstrated their staying power by taking first place on China's QQ Music daily new song chart with their pre-release single 'Fly Freely,' produced by (G)I-DLE's Soojin. This momentum led to awards at the '33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025' and 'ASEA 2026,' proving their solid growth.
In particular, NOWZ excels not only in performance but also in musical creativity. Members Hyunbin, Siyoon, and Jinkyuk have recently been releasing a series of self-composed tracks in which they participated in writing and composing, solidifying their potential as artists. With such multifaceted musical capabilities, anticipation is mounting over what kind of new sound they will showcase in their August comeback.
Meanwhile, ahead of their comeback, NOWZ will premiere their own variety content 'Do it NOW' on the 26th at 7 PM through their official YouTube channel. The preview unveiled on the 23rd features diverse episodes such as the members' logo song production process, past life experiences, and travelogues, drawing enthusiastic reactions from fans.
