SK Inc. will invest 70 billion won by participating in a third-party allotment capital increase by SK Signet, an electric vehicle charger manufacturer.

According to a regulatory filing by SK Inc. on the 24th, the company decided to acquire 9,856,378 voting dividend preferred shares issued by SK Signet for 70 billion won. This involves participating in a third-party allotment capital increase at an issue price of 7,102 won per share, with the payment for the shares scheduled for June 29.

According to the filing, SK Signet, the counterparty in this transaction, is currently classified as a "non-affiliated company (deferred affiliation inclusion)." Including this investment, SK Inc.'s total investment in SK Signet will increase to 508.236 billion won.

The board of directors approved the agenda at a meeting held on the same day, with five outside directors and an audit committee member in attendance.

Meanwhile, SK Inc. stated that details such as the schedule, quantity, and amount may change depending on future progress. Additionally, the authority to execute related details was delegated to the CEO or a person designated by the CEO.
