The global K-wave festival '2026 K World Dream Awards' has confirmed its schedule for this August.

According to the organizing committee, the '2026 K World Dream Awards' is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of August 27. Launched in 2017 as the '1st Soribada Best K-Music Awards,' the event has undergone name changes and established itself as a premier Hallyu awards ceremony that showcases the global competitiveness of K-pop and various K-content.

Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo and comedian Jang Do-yeon will host this year's ceremony. The duo has been working together since 2023 and will serve as co-MCs for the fourth consecutive year, bringing their seasoned and witty hosting skills to the stage.

This year's event will feature spectacular performances by top-tier K-pop artists as well as various interactive events for audience participation. In particular, the blue carpet event preceding the main ceremony will be attended by numerous K-pop stars and celebrities, who plan to spend time engaging with fans.

The organizing committee expressed its ambition to use this awards ceremony to promote the status of Korea as a K-culture powerhouse to the world and to create a festival where artists and fans can communicate together, noting the continuously growing interest in K-pop within the global market.

Meanwhile, the '2026 K World Dream Awards' is hosted by the organizing committee and organized by YJ Partners. For fans around the world who are unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live via a separate OTT channel, with specific platform details to be announced at a later date.
