AimeBio announced in a regulatory filing on the 26th that it is set to receive a milestone royalty under the 'ODS025' technology transfer agreement with global pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim (Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH). The specific amount to be received was not disclosed due to confidentiality clauses in the contract. However, AimeBio stated, "The claimed amount of this milestone royalty is equivalent to 10% or more of the operating revenue (approximately KRW 47.3 billion) on a consolidated financial statement basis for 2025." This royalty receipt follows the achievement of a milestone under the ODS025 technology transfer agreement signed between the two companies. The effective date of occurrence is June 26, 2026. After receiving written notification of the milestone achievement from the counterparty, AimeBio issued an invoice and expects to receive the royalty payment within 45 days from the date the counterparty receives the invoice. The technology transfer agreement was signed on October 15, 2025, prior to AimeBio's KOSDAQ listing, and was not disclosed at the time. The company explained, "Although there is a possibility that the technology transfer agreement may be terminated in the future if clinical trials, approvals, or commercialization do not proceed, even if the agreement is terminated, there is no obligation to return the milestone royalty received this time." Additionally, the company decided to withhold disclosure of detailed information, including the milestone amount received, under confidentiality clauses until the agreement is terminated. The company plans to promptly disclose any future changes to key contract terms or any disclosure obligations that may arise.
