On the 26th, domestic nuclear power-related stocks showed overall weakness, closing uniformly lower ahead of the weekend.

As of 11:26 p.m., among nuclear power theme stocks, those that relatively limited their losses were Keumhae PSC (31,300 won, -0.7%) and Soosan Industry (20,300 won, -0.9%), both recording declines of less than 1%.

Meanwhile, major nuclear power stocks saw their losses widen. Daechang Solution traded at 1,599 won (-4.3%), KEPCO KPS at 43,200 won (-4.5%), and Korea Electric Power Corporation at 37,000 won (-4.6%).

Doosan Enerbility, one of the leading nuclear power stocks, fell 7.2% to 81,400 won, slipping to the low 80,000-won range. During the same time, KEPCO E&C also recorded 98,900 won (-7.2%), followed by Woojin at 15,050 won (-7.4%), Orbitech at 5,040 won (-8.1%), and Woori Technology at 11,170 won (-8.4%).

In addition, Wujin Entek dropped 12.2% to 15,200 won, marking the largest decline among major nuclear power stocks, while Mobis also showed weakness at 2,635 won (-6.5%).

On the same day, both major domestic stock market indices also closed lower. The KOSPI ended at 8,411.21, down 5.81%, and the KOSDAQ finished at 851.37, down 4.10%.

Whether the two major indices rebound on the next trading day is cited as a key factor that will determine the future direction of nuclear power stocks.
