EcoPro Inc. announced on the 1st through a regulatory filing that it will invest approximately 529.2 billion won to participate in a rights offering by its affiliate EcoPro BM Inc.

According to the filing, EcoPro plans to acquire 4,366,131 common shares of EcoPro BM as of October 23, 2026. The exact investment amount is 529.175 billion won, and upon completion of this investment, EcoPro's total investment in EcoPro BM will increase to 785.321 billion won.

This investment is intended to participate in the rights offering conducted via a general public offering of unsubscribed shares after a shareholder allotment, as decided by EcoPro BM on June 30. The agenda was passed at the EcoPro board of directors meeting held on the same day, which was attended by all four outside directors and the audit committee member.

However, details such as the investment amount and the number of shares may be subject to change in the future. The investment amount was calculated based on the scheduled issue price (121,200 won per share), and the actual amount may differ once the final issue price is confirmed. The number of shares to be acquired is also an estimated figure that combines the shares allotted to existing shareholders and the oversubscribed shares, which will be finalized based on the results of the oversubscription allotment. Additionally, the company explained that the scheduled date for the payment of shares (investment date) may also change depending on the progress of the rights offering.
