Hwang Young Woong defended his throne with an overwhelming first-place finish in the Male Singer category of the June Netizen Awards, held as the finals for the first half of the year.

Hwang Young Woong secured a total of 62,299 votes in this final round, recording a 40.9% vote share and continuing his consecutive first-place streak. Even amid fluctuations in the overall voting scale, he firmly maintained a vote share in the 40% range, proving his status as the most popular artist of the first half of the year.

■ 2nd–4th Place Decided by a Margin of 33 Votes: Choon Gil, Son Tae Jin, and Jang Min Ho Form a Triangular Contender Group

A fierce battle unfolded for the runner-up position. Choon Gil, who garnered attention as a dark horse in May, rallied even more votes in this final round, solidifying his second place with 14,497 votes (9.5%).

Hot on his heels, Son Tae Jin received 14,110 votes (9.3%) thanks to his fandom's focused efforts, landing in third place. Jang Min Ho also recorded 14,077 votes (9.2%), finishing in fourth place with a margin of just 33 votes behind Son Tae Jin. All three artists led the upper-tier competition with vote shares in the 9% range.

■ 5th–10th Place: Major Shake-ups in the Middle Tier

The middle tier saw notable ranking changes compared to the previous month. While Jin Won defended fifth place with 5,747 votes (3.8%), Park Ji Hyun climbed to sixth place with a fierce upward trend, securing 5,661 votes (3.7%).

In particular, Seo Young Taek, who barely made the Top 10 last month, rose three spots this month, ranking seventh with 5,233 votes (3.4%). Enoch, just five votes behind Seo Young Taek, took eighth place with 5,228 votes (3.4%), while Jung Dong Won placed ninth with 5,111 votes (3.4%). Song Min Jun claimed the final spot in the Top 10 with 4,664 votes (3.1%).

■ 11th–15th Place: Fierce Competition Among Park Chang Geun, Young Tak, Ahn Sung Hoon, and Others

The intensity of the first-half finals continued in the 11th-to-15th-place bracket. Park Chang Geun rose to 11th place with 4,281 votes (2.8%), and Young Tak recorded 12th place with 1,962 votes (1.3%). Ahn Sung Hoon finished in 13th place with 1,924 votes (1.3%), 38 votes behind Young Tak. Kang Hyung Ho placed 14th with 1,710 votes (1.1%), and Park Seo Jin settled in 15th place with 1,638 votes (1.1%), moving up one spot from the previous month.

■ 16th–20th Place: A Grand Campaign Concludes Amid Steady Fan Support

The enthusiasm of fans continued even in the lower tier. Hong Isak held on to 16th place with 1,439 votes (0.9%), while Lee Chan Won followed in 17th place with 1,413 votes (0.9%). Park Hyo Shin took 18th place with 515 votes (0.3%), Jannabi's Choi Jung Hoon recorded 19th place with 414 votes (0.3%), and Lim Young Woong rounded out the rankings at 20th place with 324 votes (0.2%), bringing the first-half finals race to a close.
