Group STAYC's Yoon continues her acting career through a new short drama.

Her agency, High Up Entertainment, announced that Yoon has been cast as the protagonist, Yeon, in the Lezhin Snack short drama platform's original work "Beloved Death."

Based on the webtoon of the same name by author Lee Eun, "Beloved Death" is a mystery fantasy drama that unfolds when a mysterious entity called "Death" appears before three friends who have decided to die together and begins a transaction with them. Yeon, played by Yoon, is a multi-dimensional character—a girl addicted to death who, after failing in an extreme choice she made with her friends, experiences complex emotions. Yoon plans to perfectly portray this quirky yet lovable character, leveraging her signature bouncy energy.

Yoon, who showcased solid acting skills playing intern Shim Ja-yoon in Coupang Play series "Office Workers" Seasons 1 and 2 last year, is expected to prove an even broader acting spectrum through this new work.

Meanwhile, STAYC, the group Yoon belongs to, recently successfully wrapped up promotions for their sixth single "2:LOVE." Starting this August, they will hold the 2026 fan concert tour "STAY CLOSER," visiting a total of seven cities including Seoul, Manila, Macau, Taipei, and Australia, meeting with global fans.

"Beloved Death," the short drama highlighting Yoon's lead transformation, is set to release all episodes on Lezhin Snack on the 30th.
