HD Hyundai Electric has signed a long-term supply contract worth 1.1212 trillion KRW for power infrastructure at a U.S. data center.

According to a regulatory disclosure filed by the company on the 2nd, the contract involves the supply of data center power distribution and power equipment. The contract period runs from July 2, 2026, to January 1, 2029, and the counterparty is the company's U.S. subsidiary, HD Hyundai Electric America Corporation.

The contract amount of 1.1212 trillion KRW is a massive sum equivalent to 27.5% of the company's revenue based on its consolidated financial statements at the end of 2025. This figure was calculated by converting USD 721,293,753 at the KEB Hana Bank's initial benchmark exchange rate (1 USD = 1,554.40 KRW) as of July 2, 2026. (Note that the recent revenue standard specified in the disclosure is based on the consolidated financial statements at the end of 2025.)

This contract is backed by a global big tech company. The company's Atlanta-based U.S. entity previously signed a product-specific ancillary agreement with the tech firm, which led to a reorder being placed to the headquarters, HD Hyundai Electric.

Actual product supply will proceed sequentially. During the contract period, actual Purchase Orders (POs) will be issued individually in multiple phases. The company plans to make separate disclosures whenever POs meeting the disclosure criteria are signed in the future.

Finally, the company added that "contract terms may change depending on market conditions and circumstances." The verification date for this disclosure is July 2, 2026, the same date the supply contract was signed.
