JT announced on the 2nd that it has signed a 16.5195 billion won supply contract for 'Handlers' with Samsung Electronics.

This contract amount represents 43.04% of JT's most recent consolidated revenue (38.378522208 billion won) for 2025. The counterparty is Samsung Electronics, and the supply region is Asan, South Chungcheong Province. The contract period is set from July 1 to December 31, 2026.

Payment terms stipulate 90% upon product delivery and 10% upon completion of inspection, with no separate deposit or advance payment. The products will be supplied through outsourced production.

The company stated that the contract end date may change depending on the client's circumstances and inspection schedule. It added that the contract start date and contract date are the dates on which the purchase order was received from the client, and the stated contract amount is the supply price excluding value-added tax (VAT).
