Actress UEE attended the 'Cherry Day' event held on the morning of the 2nd at Lize Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul, as the '2026 Cherry Muse.'

The event was hosted by the Northwest Cherry Growers. The association commemorates July 2nd every year as 'Cherry Day' to announce the launch of Washington cherries, known as the 'diamond of fruits.'

Selected as this year's Cherry Muse, UEE debuted as a member of the girl group After School and has since led numerous hit dramas including 'Queen Seondeok,' 'Ojakgyo Family,' 'My Only One,' and 'Hyoshim's Independent Life,' establishing herself as both a self-proclaimed and publicly acknowledged 'ratings powerhouse' and one of South Korea's top actresses.

Meanwhile, Northwest American cherries are a popular summer fruit known for their appealing red color. They are famous for being rich in antioxidants effective in anti-aging and natural melatonin that aids sleep, and are also known to help with dieting due to their low glycemic index.
