The Lotte Giants successfully defended their lead in the June Netizens Awards Sports Category Pro Baseball Award voting, completing the monumental record of remaining at the top for six consecutive months.

According to the June Pro Baseball Award voting results, the Lotte Giants secured 1st place with a total of 1,541 votes, holding a 31.1% share. Since first claiming the top spot in January, Lotte has never relinquished the lead, once again proving its status as the most popular club in the Pro Baseball Award during this first-half final.

Traditional popular clubs mounted fierce pursuits, but fell short of turning the tide. The KIA Tigers firmly held 2nd place with 891 votes (18.0%), while the Samsung Lions settled in 3rd with 791 votes (16.0%). The Hanwha Eagles received 476 votes (9.6%), maintaining 4th place and laying the groundwork for a push into the top ranks.

■ Mid-Tier Ranking Changes

Mid-tier competition was fierce. The Doosan Bears, who had slipped one spot last month, reclaimed 5th place with 304 votes (6.1%). On the other hand, the LG Twins, who were 5th last month, managed only 285 votes (5.7%) and dropped one spot to 6th. The SSG Landers kept 7th place with 266 votes (5.4%).

■ Lower-Tier Voting Results

In the lower tier, the voting preferences of each club's fanbase were clearly reflected. The Kiwoom Heroes placed 8th with 164 votes (3.3%), the KT Wiz rose to 9th with 139 votes (2.8%), and the NC Dinos recorded 10th with 102 votes (2.1%), wrapping up the June Pro Baseball Award voting race.
