Actress Uee attended the event as the "2026 Cherry Muse" on the morning of the 2nd at Lize Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The event was a "Cherry Day" hosted by the Northwest Cherry Growers Association. The association designates July 2 every year as "Cherry Day" to announce the launch of Washington cherries, known as the "diamond of fruits."

This year's "Cherry Muse" was Uee, who debuted as a member of the girl group After School and has since starred in numerous hit dramas including "Queen Seondeok," "Ojakgyo Family," "You're the Only One," and "Live Your Own Life," earning recognition as an undisputed "ratings powerhouse."

Meanwhile, Northwest cherries are a popular summer fruit known for their attractive red color. They are famous for being rich in antioxidants, which help prevent aging, and natural melatonin, which aids restful sleep. They are also known to have a low glycemic index, making them beneficial for diets.
