In the first-half finals of the June Netizen Awards corporate category, Samsung Electronics defended its top position with overwhelming support.

According to the voting results, Samsung Electronics secured a total of 1,309 votes, claiming the top spot with a 50.9% share. Although its market share saw a slight decline compared to the previous month, the company still confirmed the steadfast support of more than half of netizens.

In the top-tier competition, Hyundai Motor Company and LG engaged in a fierce pursuit. Hyundai Motor firmly defended its second place with 546 votes (21.2%), while LG secured third place with 303 votes (11.8%).

Lotte, which had dropped in the rankings last May by a fractional margin, successfully reclaimed fourth place this month by gathering 150 votes (5.8%). Hanwha Ocean also moved up one rank, taking fifth place with 135 votes (5.2%). Meanwhile, Shinsegae, which had climbed to fourth place last month, slipped to sixth place with 117 votes (4.5%).

Fierce competition continued in the lower end of the rankings as well. Hyundai Rotem recorded seventh place with 4 votes (0.2%), while SK Group and Hyosung were tied for eighth place with 3 votes (0.1%) each. Korea Electric Power Corporation rounded out the first-half finals rankings by placing tenth with 2 votes (0.1%).
