Actress UEE attended the 'Cherry Day' event held on the morning of July 2 at Rize Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul, as the '2026 Cherry Muse.'

The event was hosted by the Northwest Cherry Growers. The association commemorates July 2 every year as 'Cherry Day' to announce the launch of Washington cherries, which are known as the 'diamond of fruits.'

Selected as this year's Cherry Muse, UEE debuted as a member of the girl group After School and went on to star in hit dramas including 'Queen Seondeok of Dmara,' 'Ojakgyo Family,' 'My Only One,' and 'Hyoshim's Each Other's Lives,' establishing herself as the undisputed 'queen of viewership ratings' and one of South Korea's top actresses.

Northwest cherries are a popular summer fruit known for their distinctive and attractive red color. They are famous for being rich in antioxidants, which are effective in preventing aging, and natural melatonin, which aids in restful sleep. They are also known to have a low glycemic index, making them beneficial for dieting.
