Goyang Special City announced that it has appointed the five-member girl group RESCHNÉE as its first promotional ambassadors since the launch of the 9th popularly elected administration.

RESCHNÉE shares a special connection with Goyang. Member May is from Goyang, having graduated from Jangchon Elementary School and Dahwa Middle School. Previously, RESCHNÉE garnered significant attention on social media through 'Geoje Yahoo' content featuring member Won, who is from Geoje. This time, the group was selected as a promotional ambassador for Goyang Special City through its connection with May.

The city plans to carry out various promotional activities featuring RESCHNÉE alongside its representative character 'Goyang Cat.' In a commissioning thank-you video, RESCHNÉE shared their thoughts by shouting 'Goyang Yahoo~.' May named Ilsan Lake Park as her favorite spot, and the members emphasized their friendly image by using 'Goyang Cat' hats and plush toys. May has also expressed her affection for Goyang City during live broadcasts.

RESCHNÉE stated, "We consider it deeply meaningful to be appointed as promotional ambassadors for Goyang Special City, the hometown of our member May. We will actively work to widely promote the diverse charm, culture, and tourism resources of Goyang Special City both domestically and internationally."
