On the 3rd, domestic nuclear power-related stocks closed mixed with diverging gains and losses across individual stocks. Among major stocks, Doosan Enerbility finished the session at 86,600 won, up 0.69% from the previous trading day, while Korea Electric Power Corporation recorded 38,350 won, a 0.52% increase. On the other hand, Korea Engineering Consultants closed down 1.38% at 106,900 won, and KEPCO KPS remained unchanged at 45,150 won.

Strength was notable among nuclear power equipment-related stocks. Woori Technology showed a relatively strong trend, rising 2.84% to 11,570 won, while Woojin gained 0.62% to close at 16,110 won and Suyusan Industry finished trading at 22,250 won, up 1.59%. Woojin Entec climbed 1.15%, and Mobis recorded the sharpest gain, surging 4.79%. Daechang Solution also closed higher, up 0.67%. Meanwhile, Keumhwa PSC fell 1.07% and Orbitech declined 0.55%.

The market is focusing on the possibility that global economic and policy variables emerging over the weekend could affect investor sentiment next week. In particular, with the U.S. New York Stock Exchange closed on the 3rd (local time) for the Independence Day substitute holiday, there is no way to confirm additional direction from overseas markets. Accordingly, observations suggest that changes in global risk asset appetite after the U.S. market reopens on the next trading day could also impact domestic nuclear power stocks. Investors are closely watching whether the upward trend in nuclear power stocks—driven by recent policy expectations and earnings forecasts—will continue, depending on the domestic market's tone after the weekend.
