Group (G)I-DLE celebrates their 8th debut anniversary with the release of their 9th mini album 'We made,' proving an even broader musical spectrum.
(G)I-DLE will release their new mini album 'We made' through various music sites on the 6th at 6 PM, marking their comeback stage. Marking their 8th debut anniversary this year, the group plans to showcase their continuous musical evolution through this new release.
The new album includes a total of five tracks: the title track 'Gimme Dat Love,' the pre-release track 'Crow' which received an enthusiastic response on global charts, this year's digital single 'Mono,' as well as 'Morning' and 'Love Is Pain.' It offers a rich listening experience by organically connecting various genres and narratives.
In particular, this album is a work that demonstrates (G)I-DLE's new leap forward. Their musical attempts, continued from 'Mono' released in January, draw attention. They presented a minimalist sound containing a message of breaking away from their existing intense style and focusing on the essence, and the subsequently released 'Crow' received acclaim by incorporating a powerful band sound and a determination to soar again.
The title track 'Gimme Dat Love,' which will mark the climax of these changes, is a Latin pop-based summer love song featuring a prominent whistle sound. It sensually expresses the instinctive feeling of love in which two people are strongly drawn to each other, offering a glimpse into (G)I-DLE's matured musical world.
