DMS announced in a regulatory filing on the 6th that it has signed a supply contract for display panel manufacturing process equipment with Chinese company Mianyang HKC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.
According to the filing, the contract amount totals KRW 41,264,696,000, equivalent to 26.54% of the company's most recent consolidated revenue (KRW 155,471,297,435) as of the end of fiscal year 2025.
The counterparty, Mianyang HKC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., is a Chinese manufacturer and distributor of display products and has no special relationship with DMS. The filing noted that there is a track record of fulfilling similar contracts over the past three years.
The contract period runs from July 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026, and the end date may be changed by mutual agreement between the two companies based on the delivery date. Payment will be made in installments of 80% interim payment and 20% final payment.
The company explained that the contract amount is CNY 180,400,000, converted to Korean won using the base exchange rate for trade on July 3, 2026 (1 CNY = KRW 228.74). It also stated that as the counterparty is an unlisted company, its recent revenue was not disclosed, and that the contract date refers to the date the company received the purchase order (PO).
