Doosan Enerbility (036020) recovered the 90,000-won level early in the session on the 6th, briefly reaching the so-called '90,000 Enerbility' milestone again, but failed to hold its gains and ultimately closed lower.

In that day's KRX session, Doosan Enerbility closed at 85,500 won, down 700 won (0.81%) from the previous trading day. The stock price recovered the 90,000-won level early in the session as strong buying interest flowed in, but gave up all of its gains as overall market weakness and profit-taking sell pressure coincided. It then extended losses to settle in the mid-80,000-won range.

The KOSPI followed a similar trajectory. It opened higher at 8,186.82 and rose to as high as 8,327.26 during the session before turning lower, closing at 8,051.33, down 37.01 points (0.46%) from the previous trading day. The intraday low dropped to 7,815.53, with trading value recorded at 31.5949 trillion won.

Recently, Doosan Enerbility has exhibited increased stock price volatility amid growth expectations related to nuclear power, gas turbines, and SMRs (Small Modular Reactors). Overall market investor sentiment has also weakened over time.

Investors should pay attention to upcoming U.S. economic indicators, global stock market trends, and changes in interest rate forecasts. This is because external variables could influence the short-term stock price movements of the domestic market and nuclear power-related stocks.
