LG Electronics recorded significant year-over-year growth in both revenue and operating profit in its preliminary consolidated results for the second quarter of 2026. According to a regulatory filing on the 7th, LG Electronics' consolidated revenue for Q2 2026 was tallied at KRW 23.8297 trillion. This represents a 14.9% increase from the same period last year (KRW 20.7352 trillion) and a 0.4% rise compared to the previous quarter (KRW 23.7272 trillion), demonstrating a solid trend. Operating profit for the same period surged 146.9% year-over-year to KRW 1.5788 trillion, up from KRW 639.4 billion in the same period last year. However, it decreased 5.7% compared to the previous quarter (KRW 1.6737 trillion). On an accumulated first-half basis, the company achieved KRW 47.5569 trillion in revenue and KRW 3.2525 trillion in operating profit, representing year-over-year increases of 9.4% and 71.3%, respectively. This disclosure represents preliminary consolidated operating results and does not include profit from continuing operations before income tax expenses, net income, or net profit attributable to owners of the parent company. The company stated that the figures are preliminary as the external auditor's accounting review has not yet been completed, and therefore may differ from the final results. Additionally, the company plans to make an additional disclosure with related details through its Q2 2026 Investor Relations (IR) session.
