A fire broke out in Ihwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 7th, prompting authorities to send an emergency safety alert.

According to Jongno-gu, a safety advisory text was sent at 6:24 p.m. that day stating that a fire had occurred at Naksan 4-gil 46 at around 5:50 p.m.

The district office requested nearby drivers to take detours and urged local residents to pay special attention to safety.

Traffic congestion and travel disruptions are expected near the fire area, so drivers are advised to use alternative routes. Residents near the scene should refrain from approaching the area if smoke or flames are visible and must follow guidance from authorities to move to a safe location.
