Singer KCM brought viewers to tears with a surprise onstage proposal to his wife Bang Ye-won after 15 years of marriage.

According to a scene aired on the KBS2 variety show 'The Return of Superman,' KCM recently planned a special event at his own concert. For his wife, whom he had never been able to have a proper wedding with, KCM prepared a heartfelt handwritten letter and a custom-made ring. The moment he handed her the ring on stage, the audience erupted in enthusiastic cheers, and Bang Ye-won, deeply moved by the unexpected gift, was ultimately brought to tears.

The couple's first daughter, Su-yeon, actively participated in this proposal, adding even greater emotion to the moment. Su-yeon carefully considered her mother's taste and helped choose the ring, as well as taking on the role of delivering flowers to her father at the right moment. Looking at Su-yeon, KCM expressed both gratitude and pride, saying, "When did Su-yeon grow up so much?"

Watching the scene, MC Kim Jong-min praised Su-yeon, saying, "She is so wonderful and beautiful," and Lalal also added, "Su-yeon is the best."

Regarding the proposal, Bang Ye-won shared her thoughts, saying, "I never imagined I would receive a proposal. I can't believe a day like this has come." Watching KCM, Kim Jong-min was moved and remarked, "He's finally finding his place."

Meanwhile, 'The Return of Superman' has received consistent love from viewers for a long time since its first broadcast in 2013. The program has been awarded a Presidential Commendation, and in 2023 and 2025, cast members including Jung-woo, Ha-ru, and Shim Hyung-tak ranked within the top 10 in the TV-OTT non-drama category for cast buzzworthiness.

The upcoming episode 628, titled 'Our Shining Summer Days,' will air on the 8th at 8:30 PM, hosted by MCs Lalal and Kim Jong-min. KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' airs every Wednesday at the same time.
