KBS2's "The Return of Superman" has earned the honor of receiving a Presidential Commendation in commemoration of the 14th Population Day.

Now in its 13th year on air, "The Return of Superman" has established itself as a beloved national parenting variety program, continuing to receive steady love from viewers. In 2023, Eunwoo, and in the first half of 2025, Jungwoo, both ranked in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks in the TV and OTT non-drama category. In August of the same year, Haru and Shim Hyungtak simultaneously entered the top 10, proving viewers' passionate interest.

Episode 628, "Our Shining Summer Days," airing on the 8th at 8:30 PM, features MC Kim Jongmin, Lalal, and special MC (G)I-DLE's Miyeon. In this episode, the sibling duo Gang and Dan engage in a fierce battle over a watermelon.

Upon seeing the siblings, Miyeon could not hide her affection, saying, "I want to touch Gang's cheeks." In particular, upon seeing Dan's new hairstyle, she showered him with admiration, exclaiming, "It's cut so adorably!"

As soon as their dad brought out the watermelon, both siblings reached out simultaneously, each trying to claim it first. Dan used his thick arms to block Gang's approach, firmly guarding the watermelon, while Gang looked at Dan with a flustered expression. Seeing this, Kim Jongmin remarked, "The giant mandu has preempted the watermelon!" drawing laughter.

Later, Gang managed to break through Dan's defense and successfully got hold of the watermelon, putting on an energetic eating show. When his dad asked him a question, he answered cutely, "Yesh~!" captivating everyone on set.

Meanwhile, Dan got bangs cut for the first time since birth. Wearing a bandana with his new style, Dan completely transformed into a "hipster baby," and Miyeon applauded and cheered at Dan's chubby cheeks and style transformation.
