Jungang Vaccine announced on the 8th that it has signed a 5.8 billion KRW supply contract for foot-and-mouth disease vaccines with the Public Procurement Service.

This contract is a government procurement supply agreement for the 'Purchase of SAT1-Type Foot-and-Mouth Disease Vaccine for Emergency Epidemic Prevention,' won through a bidding process on the National Marketplace. The total contract amount, excluding value-added tax, is 5,813,183,636 KRW, which is equivalent to 11.85% of the company's most recent revenue (49,068,711,762 KRW) on an individual basis for 2025.

The vaccine will be supplied through an import-and-distribution method, and the delivery location will be designated by the requesting agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The contract (order) date is July 8, 2026, and the contract period is set from that date until November 7, 2026.

The payment and defect warranty conditions are as follows. First, there is no advance payment. After the vaccine is delivered, test reports must be submitted within two months, and following inspection and acceptance, payment will be made within one month. The defect warranty period is one year, and the late delivery penalty rate is 0.075%.

The company explained through the disclosure that "the contract end date refers to the payment deadline" and that "the actual details of the contract execution may differ from the contracted terms depending on changes to the delivery requirements requested by the counterparty."
