[Breaking] Qrux Quantum Plunges Over 6%... U.S. Quantum Computing Stocks Mixed in Early Trading
CBC News

As of 10:33 p.m. on the 8th Korean time, quantum computing-related stocks are showing mixed performance in early trading on the U.S. stock market. While gains and losses are diverging by stock with a clear differentiation trend, Qrux Quantum is drawing attention with a sharp decline.

Among the gainers, D-Wave Quantum rose 0.42% and Rigetti Computing climbed 1.02%, showing a relatively steady trend. Inflection (0.60%) and Quantum Computing (0.23%) also joined the upward trend. Meanwhile, the representative stock IonQ fell 0.04%, remaining essentially flat.

On the downside, Qrux Quantum dropped 6.93%, recording the steepest decline among major quantum computing-related stocks. IQM Quantum Computers (-2.32%) and Zenodo Quantum Technologies (-1.50%) also failed to avoid weakness.

It is still the early trading period right after the market open, a situation with high volatility. The market is keeping an eye on how overall investment sentiment in tech stocks, along with U.S. interest rate outlooks and geopolitical risks in the Middle East, will affect the direction of quantum computing stocks in the latter half of the session.
