Channel A's variety program 'Baseball Queen 2' is set to premiere at 10 p.m. on the 9th.

In this season, the Black Queens, Korea's 50th women's baseball team, will hold a tryout to recruit three new players. In particular, the appearance of a 'monster applicant' with overwhelming skills threatens to put all existing members at risk of losing their spots, promising extreme tension.

A large number of skilled players who surpass those in Season 1 have applied, creating a deep sense of crisis among the existing members. The Black Queens will compete in the main round against 18 applicants who passed a fierce preliminary test out of a total of 308 applicants across 47 events.

"Why did you only appear now!"... The 'Monster Applicant' Who Won Over Director Choo Shin-soo

At the tryout venue, one applicant revealed that she was the only female player on a Little League team during her youth, but had to switch sports after entering high school because there was no baseball team. She then showed a strong determination to perfectly handle every position the Black Queens need.

In the subsequent catch and fielding tests, this applicant impressed with powerful throws and no-bounce throws from the outfield. During this process, infielders Joo Soo-jin, Ayaka, and Kim Seong-yeon felt a great sense of tension, but soon marveled at her outstanding skills, creating an atmosphere of admiration that transcended competition.

In the batting test, coach Yoon Seok-min took the mound himself to pitch. From her first swing, the applicant made solid contact, and on her second swing, she hit a home-run ball that shook the ground. Watching this, coach Lee Dae-hyung poured out unreserved praise, saying, "I can't see Song-a. The era of Song-a is now over!"

She also displayed precise control in the pitching test, drawing applause from ace pitcher Jang Soo-young. In a shocking scene, Song-a, who batted .600 last season, even struck out while facing this applicant. Even Director Choo Shin-soo was deeply impressed, exclaiming, "Why did you only appear now!"

The second season of the Black Queens, now upgraded in strength, will be revealed on Channel A today at 10 p.m. on the 9th.
