The KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' is drawing viewers' attention by recording high viewership ratings and buzz since the early stages of its broadcast.

It is a crime thriller in which Kang Tae-ju (played by Namkoong Min) and his wife Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol), who are on the verge of divorce, get caught up in a kidnapping case and face off against a criminal.

The viewership ratings for the second episode hit a per-minute high of 7.2% and a nationwide average of 6.4% according to Nielsen Korea, breaking its own record. After the first and second episodes aired, it ranked first in the global OTT platform Disney+'s 'Today's Top 10 Series in Korea,' and also placed in the upper ranks at 6th and 4th respectively in the TV-OTT and TV Buzzworthiness DRAMA categories of the Good Data Corporation Fundex Report.

In the drama, neurosurgeon Kang Tae-ju, right after informing his wife Go Se-yoon of a divorce, faces the incident where Go Se-yoon is kidnapped by No Man-hee (played by Kim Dae-myung). Afterwards, Kang Tae-ju is urgently arrested on charges of instigating kidnapping and murder due to a statement he made while drunk, and is locked up in a police station. Meanwhile, an encounter with Lee Soo-hyung (played by Park Byung-eun) takes place in the police station restroom.

Taking advantage of the darkened police station during a power outage, Kang Tae-ju attempts to escape. He slips out of the interrogation room, goes through the hallway, climbs the stairs to flee, and faces extreme situations such as hiding his body in a drainage pipe to avoid the police's line of sight. Namkoong Min portrayed the psychological changes of Kang Tae-ju, who transforms from an ordinary doctor to a fugitive, with delicate facial expressions and unstable breathing.

The production team stated regarding the third episode, "It will contain important content about why Kang Tae-ju had no choice but to flee despite being pursued by the police," adding, "Please look forward to the extreme psychological changes and urgent action that Namkoong Min will showcase." They continued, "The events that unfold as Kang Tae-ju meets Lee Soo-hyung will be a key viewing point of the third episode, and the police station escape will become an important turning point as it aligns with Kang Tae-ju's goal of saving his wife."

'The Completion of Marriage' was produced with the support of the Broadcasting Communications Development Fund of the Korea Communications Commission, and the third episode is scheduled to be released on the 11th at 9:20 PM.
