Q (Ji Chang-min) of THE BOYZ is drawing keen interest from global fans just one day ahead of the release of his first solo digital single, 'Anytime.'

Recently, the official SNS (@myidolmydebut) of the drama 'My Idol, My Debut' (directed by Han Geum-bi, written by Choi Yeon-soo, produced by Minari Entertainment) released a lyric poster for the new song 'Anytime' along with a handwritten Polaroid photo of Q. The lyric poster features the high school character 'Han Jae-ha (played by Ji Chang-min)' from the drama in a school uniform, with lyrics that read, "If you've heard this song, please come to me," stimulating curiosity about the character's emotions and the time-slip narrative.

The released Polaroid photo captures a playful side of Q, complete with a handwritten message that reads, "Please show lots of love for the 'Anytime' single! :)" and his signature sign, conveying his special charm.

Set to be released this time, 'Anytime' is a track that highlights a clean, emotive vocal tone and a smooth emotional delivery, showcasing Q's depth not just as a performer but as a vocalist. The song organically connects to the time-slip, romance, and mystery narrative of the drama 'My Idol, My Debut,' which is scheduled to premiere on July 16.

'My Idol, My Debut' is a time-slip coming-of-age drama about a devoted fan who travels back eight years to prevent a tragedy and attempts to change destiny as an idol trainee. It is planned as a linked IP project where a fictional idol group within the drama actually releases music and performs on stage. The release of Q's solo song is drawing industry attention as the first attempt to expand the story from a fictional world into the real K-POP market.

Meanwhile, the drama 'My Idol, My Debut' will premiere at 11:30 p.m. on July 16 on MBC Dramanet and the Japanese OTT platform Lemino, and is scheduled to be sequentially released afterward on MBC M, Wavve, TVING, and WATCHA.
