LS Materials (417200) is showing a strong upward trend, surging more than 8% alongside the triggering of the Volatility Induction Circuit (VI) during trading hours.

According to the Korea Exchange on the 9th, a static VI was triggered for LS Materials at 9:44:35 a.m. The trigger price was 13,080 won. The VI was subsequently lifted at approximately 9:46:43 a.m. on the same day.

As of 9:45 a.m. on this day, LS Materials is trading at 13,030 won, up 1,000 won (8.31%) from the previous trading day. The stock price is rapidly soaring as buying pressure concentrated in the early minutes of the session.

The domestic stock market is also showing strength across the board. At the same time, the KOSPI index stood at 2,515.59, up 268.80 points (3.70%) from the previous trading day, while the KOSDAQ index rose to 808.91, up 23.91 points (3.04%). Both major markets are continuing their upward trends.

LS Materials is maintaining its upward momentum even after the VI was lifted, bolstering investor sentiment. However, given the high intraday volatility, whether the stock will further expand its gains or sustain its current strong trend is cited as the key point to watch for today's stock price.
