LegoChem Biosciences announced on the 9th via a regulatory filing that it will receive a milestone payment following the achievement of first patient dosing (FPD) for the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidate 'LCB97 (L1CAM-ADC),' which was licensed out to Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
The payment amount is not specifically disclosed due to confidentiality conditions under the contract. However, the amount is equivalent to 10% or more of the company's revenue on a consolidated financial statement basis for 2025 (141,553,069,341 KRW), making it subject to mandatory major disclosure requirements.
The actual date of occurrence (confirmation) is July 9, 2026, based on the invoice issuance date, and LegoChem Biosciences expects to receive the payment within 45 days.
Additionally, the company noted that even if the technology transfer agreement is terminated due to the failure of future clinical trials, regulatory approval, or commercialization, there is no obligation to return the milestone payment already received.
