On the 10th, domestic nuclear power-related stocks closed higher across the board. Amid a recent rebound in the broader stock market, buying interest flowed into the nuclear power theme, with most major stocks recording positive performance.

Among large-cap stocks by market capitalization, Doosan Enerbility closed at 79,600 won, up 8.74% from the previous trading day. Additionally, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) finished trading at 36,500 won, up 3.69%; KEPCO E&C surged 7.61% to close at 103,200 won; and KEPCO KPS rose 2.56% to end at 45,900 won.

In particular, Woobi Technology stood out among nuclear power stocks, closing at 11,210 won with a sharp gain of 11.54%. Beyond that, mid- and small-cap stocks also saw notable across-the-board gains.

  • Mobis: 2,730 won (+8.11%)
  • Daesang Holdings: 1,612 won (+7.39%)
  • Woojin: 15,410 won (+6.71%)
  • Soosan Industries: 21,850 won (+5.30%)
  • Orbitech: 5,020 won (+4.47%)
  • Woojin Entech: 15,690 won (+3.22%)
  • Kumhwa PSC: 32,200 won (+0.15%)

The broad-based rally in nuclear power stocks on this day also reflected improved investor sentiment. However, a considerable number of stocks have seen their gains expand over a short period. Therefore, whether this buying momentum will continue on the first trading day of next week or profit-taking sell-offs will emerge is seen as the key variable that will determine the future trend of nuclear power stocks.
