Singer Bae Gi-sung shared his honest feelings about facing a hearing loss crisis during the finals of TV CHOSUN's 'Joseon's Lover' 5th anniversary special, 'Joseon's Lover Singing Contest.'

According to the recently released third part of 'Joseon's Lover Singing Contest,' Bae revealed that deafness in his right ear has persisted for five months, accompanied by 24-hour tinnitus, leaving him completely unable to understand words coming from his right side.

He expressed the burden he feels every time he takes the stage, saying, "It weighs heavily on my heart that I cannot show my best vocal power and condition." He added, "For me, this might be... the last stage where I can sing in front of the senior colleagues I truly loved," evoking deep sympathy.

Previously, it was reported that Bae had been informed by a doctor that if his hearing does not recover within six months, he could receive a disability diagnosis. In response, he shared that he and his wife Lee Eun-bi have been eating health foods such as frog and centipede, making every effort to recover his health.

The finals featuring Bae Gi-sung's hearing loss revelation will air on July 13 at 10 p.m. on TV CHOSUN's 'Joseon's Lover' 5th anniversary special, 'Joseon's Lover Singing Contest' Part 3.
