The Korea Exchange announced that it triggered a sell-side circuit breaker (Side Car) on the securities market (KOSPI) at 10:34:14 a.m. on the 13th.

The measure was taken as the price of futures (the highest-volume issue on the previous trading day) based on the KOSPI200 as the underlying asset remained down 5% or more from the基准 price for over one minute. According to the disclosure, the current price of the futures stood at 1,142.16 points, down 63.14 points (-5.23%) from the base price of 1,205.30 points.

Accordingly, program sell orders on the securities market will be temporarily suspended for the next five minutes. This measure was taken in accordance with Article 16 of the Securities Market Business Regulations.
