As MBN's large-scale trot audition program 'Legend of the Nameless' prepares to air Season 2 this winter, the show has officially launched its contestant recruitment campaign.

The second season of 'Legend of the Nameless — The Ranking War of Trot Men' is a large-scale audition conducted strictly on the basis of skill. Season 2 is set to showcase an even larger scale, fiercer competition, and a more compelling narrative than Season 1. The audition is open to any male challenger passionate about trot, and applications can be submitted through the MBN official website or the QR code located in the center of the recruitment poster. The first round of applications will be accepted from July 13 to August 28.

Previously, Season 1, which concluded in May of last year, produced Sung Ri as its first-ever legend and gained massive popularity. In particular, the final episode featuring the championship round surpassed a peak rating of 10.1% among paid broadcasting households, according to Nielsen Korea. Furthermore, the Season 1 TOP 7 — Sung Ri, Ha Ru, Jang Han-byul, Hwang Yoon-sung, Jung Yeon-ho, Lee Chang-min, and Lee Ru-ne — sold out their nationwide tour concerts and have been actively appearing across various broadcasts, enjoying tremendous popularity.

The newly released recruitment poster highlights a triangular symbol inspired by the 'Ranking Tower,' the program's core motif. The poster also features the slogan, "The discovery of the nameless can only be done by MBN," drawing the attention of prospective contestants.

The production team stated, "'Legend of the Nameless' Season 2, the most intense trot audition that discovers unknown talents and crowns the single last survivor as a legend, will arrive this winter." They added, "With an even bigger scale, fiercer competition, and heart-pounding stages and storytelling, you can confidently expect Season 2 to surpass Season 1." They also encouraged prospective contestants to refer to the recruitment poster and actively apply.
