Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has signed a second group-wide contract renewal with their agency, Pledis Entertainment.

On the 13th, Pledis officially announced, "All members of SEVENTEEN have agreed to a second contract renewal." All members currently not serving in the military have already completed their contracts, and those fulfilling their military duties plan to proceed with the process sequentially depending on their service circumstances.

Debuting in 2015, SEVENTEEN has been active as a 13-member complete group without any member changes. In 2021, they signed their first contract renewal ahead of schedule, and with this second renewal, they have once again set the unusual record of a 'full-group contract renewal' for a group with many members.

In a message to their fandom CARAT, SEVENTEEN shared, "With the belief that nothing is impossible when we are together as members and a shared desire to go further as a team, all 13 of us have decided to stay together." They added, "Please join us in our promise to challenge eternity as members of 'TEAM SVT.'"

Pledis stated, "We will continue to support the growth of each member's unique characteristics and potential," and added, "We plan to systematically and fully support SEVENTEEN's group, unit, and individual activities." The agency expressed its commitment to faithfully fulfilling its role as a supporter and partner so that the team's positive energy can spread widely across the world, and conveyed its anticipation for the day all 13 members stand before fans again, laying the groundwork for a full-group comeback.

Having built a unique musical world through their self-producing system, SEVENTEEN holds numerous records, including the highest sales for a single K-pop album and surpassing 5 million copies in first-week sales. They continue to expand their musical scope through various unit and solo activities, strengthening their global influence.

Recently, the V8 unit (The8, Vernon) released their first mini-album and held a solo live concert with approximately 15,000 audience members over two days on the 11th and 12th. Dino is currently preparing to release a solo album on August 3rd under his alternate persona 'Pierrot.'
