Twenty-eight-year-old CEO Min Yo-han is writing a new chapter in the side dish industry, recording an annual revenue of 27 billion won. Min Yo-han appears on EBS's 'Seo Jang-hoon's Neighbor Millionaire' to reveal the secrets behind his business success and his extraordinary devotion to his family.
Currently operating 57 stores, CEO Min has personally developed approximately 1,000 recipes, steadily expanding his business with the goal of becoming 'everybody's rice thief.' In this broadcast, his large-scale side dish factory and production lines will be revealed, and a 'tear-jerking menu' that will tug at viewers' heartstrings is also scheduled to be introduced.
Having purchased his own home in Seoul at the young age of 28, he lives with his parents and older sister, fully embracing his role as the head of the household. He personally handled the interior design and furniture, covers all maintenance fees and living expenses, and even takes charge of cleaning, organizing deliveries, and ordering fruit and snacks.
Min Yo-han showcased his filial devotion, saying, "As soon as I started making money, the first thing I did was gift my father a car, and I gave my parents a credit card so they could spend freely. My parents don't even know how much the electricity bill is."
The foundation of his success lay in his father's extraordinary support. Despite difficult circumstances, his father believed in and cheered on his son's dreams. Instead of sending him to cram schools, he gave him an allowance and guaranteed him freedom. Using this as a springboard, Min Yo-han traveled around the world, accumulating diverse culinary experiences. His father even built a personal kitchen just for his son within the house, and actively helped him attend a Michelin chef's dinner show by pooling the family's living expenses for half a month.
His father shared his thoughts, saying, "My son had no talent for studying since he was young. I wanted to support him from behind in doing what he loves."
Watching this, Seo Jang-hoon joked, "Your parents were struggling while your son was traveling abroad... It's a beautiful story because he succeeded, but in a way, it could also be a story of an unfilial son," drawing laughter.
Min Yo-han's extraordinary family devotion, his father's special support, and his remarkable growth as a young entrepreneur in his twenties can be seen on EBS's 'Seo Jang-hoon's Neighbor Millionaire.'
