Axvis announced in a regulatory filing that it signed a contract on the 14th with J Robotics Co., Ltd. to supply laser systems for the manufacturing process of ESS (Energy Storage System) secondary batteries (prismatic batteries).

The contract value is 7.646 billion won (7,646,000,000 won, excluding VAT), accounting for 13.51% of Axvis's 2025 consolidated revenue (56.573 billion won). The counterparty, J Robotics, is a manufacturer of robotics-based automation equipment in the secondary battery, display, and semiconductor sectors. It was confirmed that the two companies have no record of executing similar contracts over the past three years.

  • Down Payment: 2.336 billion won (to be paid within 20 days of contract signing)

  • After Equipment Stabilization: Remaining balance of 768 million won

Regarding the contract period start date, the company explained, "Due to delays in finalizing the detailed contract terms, the contract signing date of July 14, 2026, was recorded as the start date for the initial manufacturing schedule."

Additionally, the company noted that the contract amount excludes value-added tax and that a correction disclosure will be made if the contract terms are modified based on future progress.
