Dasco drew investors' attention on the 15th by showing strong upward momentum, triggering the Volatility Interruption (VI) mechanism twice during the trading session.

The first static VI was triggered at 10:26:43 a.m., lifted at 10:29:08 a.m., then triggered again at 10:35:58 a.m. and released at 10:38:06 a.m. Even after the VI was lifted, buying pressure continued to flow in, and as of 10:59 a.m., Dasco was trading at 5,280 won. This represents an increase of 890 won (20.27%) from the previous trading day, recording an intraday gain of over 20%.

The broader domestic stock market also maintained a bullish trend. At the same time, the KOSPI rose to 7,310.17, up 453.34 points (6.61%) from the previous trading day, while the KOSDAQ climbed to 822.41, up 38.43 points (4.90%), with both major indices rising in tandem.

The U.S. inflation indicators are interpreted to have positively contributed to the improvement in investor sentiment. The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June, announced by the Department of Labor, rose 3.5% year-on-year, and the core CPI increased by 2.6%. The market is focusing on the fact that inflationary pressure continues to slow, and is closely watching for potential changes in the Federal Reserve's (Fed) monetary policy going forward.

However, geopolitical risks in the Middle East remain a variable. U.S. President Donald Trump warned on the 14th (local time) that if a ceasefire agreement with Iran is not reached by next week, power plants and bridges could be included as targets for attack. Accordingly, there are concerns that volatility in international oil prices and global financial markets could expand once again.
