On the morning of the 15th, Jeju Semiconductor (080220) is drawing intense investor attention as it showed a sharp upward trend, triggering a Volatility Indication (VI).

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), a static VI for Jeju Semiconductor was triggered at 9:52:18 a.m. that day and was lifted about two minutes later at 9:54:25 a.m. Even after the VI was lifted, the stock's upward trend continued.

As of 10:06 a.m., Jeju Semiconductor is trading at 87,200 won, up 13,500 won (18.32%) from the previous trading day. During the session, the price soared to the late 80,000-won range, demonstrating strong buying momentum.

Along with Jeju Semiconductor's rally, the domestic stock market is also staging a broad upward rally on the same day. At the same time, the KOSPI is recording 7,264.51, surging 407.68 points (5.94%) from the previous trading day. The KOSDAQ is also trading at 822.57, up 38.59 points (4.92%), with both major indices rising in tandem.

Market participants are closely watching whether the strong bullish trend will continue into the afternoon session.
