Lotte Tourism Development (032350) is drawing investors' attention on the 15th as it showed a sharp decline to the extent that the Volatility Interruption (VI) was successively triggered during the session.
According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), Lotte Tourism Development's first static VI was triggered at 9:23:12 a.m. and released at 9:25:24 a.m. Subsequently, a static VI was triggered again at 10:11:20 a.m. and lifted at 10:13:27 a.m. Even after the two VI releases, the decline has not narrowed.
As of 10:34 a.m., Lotte Tourism Development is trading at 10,990 won, down 2,830 won (20.48%) from the previous trading day.
At the same time, the domestic stock market is showing a clear uptrend. KOSPI rose by 393.72 points (5.74%) to 7,250.55, and KOSDAQ also climbed by 37.17 points (4.74%) to 821.15. While both indices are rising in tandem, a sharp sell-off has flowed only into Lotte Tourism Development, moving against the market trend.
Given that volatility has expanded enough to trigger VI twice during the session, investors need to closely monitor related disclosures and changes in supply and demand.
