Virtual asset exchange Coinone is embarking on a full-scale effort to increase its market share in the second half of the year, leveraging large-scale brand marketing and synergy with its new shareholders. Starting with its participation as the main title sponsor for 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026,' the company is conducting omnidirectional campaigns across TV and outdoor advertising, heightening market expectations.

Coinone will participate as the main title sponsor in 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026,' scheduled to be held on the 22nd of next month. The strategy is to boost brand awareness and solidify a young and trendy brand value through this event, which features a large number of top-tier domestic artists.
To commemorate the sponsorship, a customer event will also run until the end of this month. Through a draw, a total of 300 customers who newly sign up for Coinone and apply during the period will receive 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026' admission tickets (two tickets per person). In addition, prizes including tickets and accommodation vouchers will be offered to first-time traders and top-performing customers in the friend referral program.

Strategic collaboration with new shareholders, set to be pursued in the second half of the year, is also cited as a key driver that will lead Coinone's market share rebound. Previously, Coinone attracted strategic investments from Korea Investment Securities, the No. 1 securities firm in the domestic industry, and OKX, a global top-tier virtual asset exchange, welcoming them as major shareholders. Starting in the second half, Coinone plans to expand its points of contact with them and generate concrete synergy.
- Korea Investment Securities: The focus will be on revitalizing the exchange of ideas in the new industry sector and conducting joint marketing targeting the similar customer bases of both companies, aiming to drive new customer inflow and expand market share.
