The Korea Trot Producers Association (Chairman Shi Sung-ung) held its inaugural ceremony on the 16th at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, and embarked on full-scale activities.

Composed of about 50 heads of domestic trot production companies and planners who joined forces, the association set forth the healthy development of South Korea's trot industry and the globalization of K-Trot as its mission.

At the ceremony, the purpose of its establishment, operational direction, and mid-to-long-term vision were revealed. In particular, concrete plans to host the 'K-Trot Super Concert' scheduled for 2027 were announced, serving as the starting signal for full-scale activities.

The association has set its core tasks as follows: establishing an institutional foundation to improve the production environment and protect producers' rights and interests, building a coexistent network among producers, and developing diverse businesses such as performances, events, and content production. Through this, it aims to expand the base of trot culture and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry.

An association official stated, "Producers and planners who love trot have gathered their will to launch this association," adding, "This inaugural ceremony will be the starting point for a new leap forward in South Korea's trot industry." They continued, "We will create a healthy industrial ecosystem where producers, artists, and fans grow together, and we will continue various projects and support to advance K-Trot into the global market."

Meanwhile, based on the protection of producers' rights and the strengthening of industrial competitiveness, the association plans to diversify domestic and international performance and content businesses, laying the groundwork for K-Trot's entry into overseas markets.
