The Korea Trot Producers Association (Chairman Si Seong-woong) held its inaugural ceremony on the 16th at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, and officially launched its activities.

Established by some 50 trot production company executives and planners joining forces for the sound development of South Korea's trot industry, the association has set forth its vision: mutual cooperation and strengthened rights protection among producers, the building of a sustainable industry ecosystem, and the globalization of K-Trot.

At the inaugural ceremony, the association's founding purpose, operational direction, and mid-to-long-term vision were revealed. In particular, concrete plans for the upcoming '2027 K-Trot Super Concert' were announced, serving as the starting signal for the association's activities.

Going forward, the association plans to pursue key tasks including establishing an institutional foundation to improve the production environment and protect producers' rights, and building a mutual cooperation network. It also plans to carry out diverse projects such as performances, events, and content production to expand the base of trot culture and enhance the overall competitiveness of K-Trot.

A representative of the Korea Trot Producers Association stated, "Producers and planners who love trot have gathered to launch this association," adding, "This inaugural ceremony will serve as a starting point for a new leap forward in South Korea's trot industry." They continued, "We will create a healthy industry ecosystem where producers, artists, and fans grow together, and we will continue various projects and support efforts to advance K-Trot into the global market."

Meanwhile, based on the protection of producers' rights and the strengthening of industry competitiveness, the association plans to diversify domestic and international performance and content businesses, laying the groundwork for K-Trot's entry into overseas markets.
